On Monday, a 25 -year -old civil engineer from Kerala arrested the narcotic wing of the central crime and reportedly received 3.5 kilograms of hydroponic Ganja worth 4.5 Crore.
The accused, identified as Jiju Prasad, was reportedly caught by red hand in delivering drugs in an electronic city. The accused worked in a private company and lived in an apartment in Bommasandra. The accused told the police that he was getting drugs identified as Ashwin Samuel, who is currently on the run.
The accused had a large number of customers he added to the WhatsApp group, where he received orders. He supplied drugs by the “Location of Drop” method, where he kept drugs in an isolated public place and shared his placement to the customer on WhatsApp and later paid online. The Drop Locality Method is the most common method used by the PedDlers to prevent the police from disproportionate attention.
The defendant sold every gram of hydroponic Ganja for 12,000 GBP. It carries drugs wrapped in plastic covers and carried them in a backpack. The list of clients is huge, mostly consisting of IT employees living in the electronic city and around Bommasandra, the police said.
Police are now looking for Samuel, who is a source of drugs from Kerala. Police are also investigating the connection of Kerala in drugs because there are many salesmen between Kerala and Karnataka.
