After the Sindoor operation, the Ministry of the Interior of the Union (MHA) has increased safety in vital installations across the country, including the building of parliament and nuclear plants.
Employees of central industrial security forces (CISF) deployed in the parliament building are trained with an army in the fight against terrorist strikes, drone attacks and internal sabotage, said CISF official on Thursday (July 17, 2025). Their weapons will also be upgraded in the coming days, the official said. The dog units training module is also changed.
CISF took over Parliament’s security in June 2024 after a breach of security in the new Parliament building 13 December 2023. He replaced the police and the police forces of the central reserve (CRPF). The monsoon meeting of parliament begins 21 July.
The clerk said that exercise for training with the Indian army should be “ready for battle” against unconventional and hybrid threats.

Critical installation of respondents

The staff selected for high-intensity training is part of the CISF team with fast responses (QRTS)-first respondents for extraordinary events. “Only those under the age of 35 and who passed the Battle of Physical Efficiency (BPET) in accordance with National Security (NSG) standards (NSG) are eligible,” the clerk said.
