The Indian Industry Confederation (CII) Telangana will organize a conference on industrial safety in pharmaceuticals and chemical sectors in Hyderabad 25 June.
Proven procedures in the field of environment, health and safety (EEC) and operational safety; Regulatory updates and framework of compliance; Risk management, risk control and incident prevention; And case studies on innovation and safe production systems should be discussed. The conference seeks to support dialogue, share proven procedures, and promote the culture of security and resistance in industrial operations, while supporting the TELANGANY vision to double the value of the ecosystem of life sciences and the location of Hyderabad as an Asian pharmaceutical node.
EEC officials and compliance with regulations, heads of plants and sites, research and development experts, consultants and influencing policies, the organizers would say on Thursday (June 19, 2025).
It is a timely initiative to combine all key voices and build a culture in which safety is built into each layer of industrial operations, said CII-TELANAND R. Sivaprasad Reddy.
“If we accelerate towards global perfection in the production of life sciences, safety cannot be thought out,” said Avps Cii Telangana Pharma and Life Sciences Committee AVPS.
The conference assumes importance, because in recent years industrial accidents have occurred in pharmaceutical units in Telangana and neighboring Andhra Pradesh.
