
The Indian Indian Confederation (CII), Karnataka, introduced its new travel map on Thursday to increase the competitiveness of the state on the global scene.
As part of a travel map called “Acceleration of Karnataka’s Competitiveness: Globalization, Inclusivity, Sustainability, Trust”, CII would focus on the transformation of the AI, the East sectors and building capacities for MSME.
Other priorities will include simplification of GST and taxation, mitigating compliance to strengthen “ease of business” and improving infrastructure and connectivity for balanced industrial development, the commercial body said at a press conference.
According to the office wearers, the agenda CII 2025–26 was focused on the authorization of MSME through digitization, accepting ESG and supporting cluster support. Key priorities include developing sectors, such as semiconductors, air and electrical mobility, along with energy transition and alternative fuels and industry 4.0 skills. In order to influence the impact across sectors, CII plans to strengthen cooperation with the academic community, startups, government and global partners to catalyze investments, support the capacities of deep technology and fast industrial transformation.
Rabindra Sricantan, chairman of CII, “When we move towards Viksit Bharat, the state has the opportunity to shape the industrial future of India through innovation, technological lines and sustainability.”
The aim of the trade body was to create a durable and agile ecosystem that seized the industry to lead in strategic areas such as semiconductors, design, design, powered by AI and clean energy. The key pillar of this journey was the expansion of global capabilities (GCC), which quickly evolved from support nodes to strategic innovation engines across sectors, added.
GuruPrasad Mudlapur, Vice -President of CII, said, “We are determined to speed up the inclusive and growth prepared for the future by strengthening competitiveness, easy business and building confidence that allows MSME throughout the state.”
He said that the new CII plan was in line with Viksit Bharat and focused on infrastructure, simplifying policy and accepting technology to increase industrial resistance throughout the country.
