Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) announced an annual profit of 489.84 GBP for the financial year 2024–25.
The total revenues of the airport company touched 1,142 crore. The annual CIAL General Meeting, which took place here on Saturday (September 27, 2025), approved the recommendations of the Board of Directors to distribute 50% of profits as dividend for shareholders.
Cial chairman, which concerns the annual General Meeting, is held online, the main Minister of Pinarayi Vijayan, who is also chairman of CIAL, said that the airport company carries out development projects worth 1,400 GBP. The fiscal year 2024–25 recorded the highest profit in Cial history.
“The year that has passed has witnessed CIAL not only recording impressive financial growth, but also brought commendable profits in surveys on the operating efficiency and satisfaction of customers. More than one crore passengers went through Kochi Airport for the third year.
Cial implements projects with large tickets to earn significant changes in the Indian aviation industry. The expansion of the international terminal is progressing rapidly. The design of the apron is 50%within this part. During this period you can also operate imports of the freight terminal, quarantine animal system, 0484 Aero Lounge and Hotel Kochi Airport Taj Hotel. There is also a comprehensive project for full digitization of the airport operation, said Mr. Vijayan.
The construction of a commercial zone and a project of golf tourism aimed at increasing the revenue from the end of the distinctive project, and also achieve rapid progress. Success at Kochi Airport in solar energy production brought international recognition. Currently, 50 megawatts are installed by CIAL Green Energy Projects. The hydrogen production project, which is implemented with the support of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, is also in its final stages.
