The photographer of the wilderness Krupakar, who started the camp, presented a convincing address of the current educational system in India. He created a comparison with systems in countries such as Japan and Germany, emphasized the importance of care for life skills over Rote academics, especially for children under the age of ten.
“Children in Japan are not presented to formal academics up to the age of ten, but the country remains one of the most advanced in the world. On the other hand, our system burdened children in LKG with tasks over their cognitive capacity,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of experiential learning and quoted examples from Tribal Haadis near Bandipur, where children acquire exceptional life skills. “The eight -year -old tribal boy who can handle a giant Tusker shows a certain kind of knowledge and trust that cannot be taught in the classes. This is much more valuable than just knowing how to run a smartphone,” Mr. Krupakar said.
The director of Rangayana Satish Tiptur presented the topic for this year’s camp – “BALYA AMOOLYA” (rare childhood) – and emphasized the importance of maintaining the innocence and potential of childhood. He also recorded a special importance of the opening of the camp on the 134th anniversary of the birth of BR Ambedkar, the champion of equality and justice.
The opening ceremony, which took place in vanarang in the evening, took part in the Grand Assembly of parents, theater enthusiasts and dignitaries, including MALLIKARJUNA SWAMY, joint director of Cannada and Culture, MD Sudarshan, Deputy Rangayan, Anil Revoor, Anil, Anil, Anil, Anil Revoor.
