Kerala’s declaration to eradicate extreme poverty has received recognition from Xu Feihong, the Chinese ambassador to India. In a post on social media platform X, he congratulated the state on its “historic achievement in ending extreme poverty. Eradicating poverty is a common mission of humanity,” he wrote.
Thanking the ambassador, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the state’s success in eradicating extreme poverty “reflects our shared commitment to social justice and human dignity”.
