Visit China PM Modi
In the middle of sour ties with the US, after Trump’s tariffs doubled, PM Narendra Modi is probably traveling to China after seven years as part of his visit to two nations, which also includes a trip to Japan.
According to the PTI report, PM Modi will visit Japan around 29 August, and will travel to the northern Chinese city of Tianjin to the SCO Summit, which will take place on 31 August-1. September.
A visit to the Prime Minister in China is planned in the middle of both parties to repair their bilateral ties, which after the deadly clashes between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan valley in June 2020 got under serious tension.
However, there was no official confirmation about the reports.
Prime Minister Modi last visited China in June 2018 to attend the SCO summit. Chinese President Xi Jinping visited India in October 2019 for the second “informal summit”.
