
India Teens badminton sensation UNNATI HOODA created the biggest victory in her young career on Thursday and defeated the senior compatriots PV Sindu in the female single.
A 17-year-old player outperformed the double Olympic medalist 21-16, 19-21, 21-13 in a match that lasted 76 minutes. Hood showed a remarkable peace and tactical clarity, took control at the beginning of the first game and maintained its rhythm in the third to sea the competition.
Sindhu, who registered victory over morals over the Japanese Tomoka Miyazaki in her opening match – her first victory over the 10 best player included this year – could not build on this result.
