Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines, which will resume its flights from Shanghai to Delhi from November 9, said on Friday that it will increase the frequency from three times a week to five times a week from January 2.
After the MEA said earlier this month that China and India had decided to allow the resumption of air services after five years, the airline had earlier announced flights three times a week starting on the 9th.
The flights will be operated by a wide-body Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which will offer 17 seats in business class and 245 seats in economy class.
