Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan organized Children’s Day celebrations at VUDA Children’s Arena in Visakhapatnam on Saturday (November 8, 2025). The arena was decorated with an exhibition of various hand-made crafts and toys created by students of classes LKG to 3.
Students made vases from plastic bottles; wall hangings made of cardboard; flower pots decorated with ribbons; plates decorated with peanut shells; flowers made from paper egg trays; chocolate hair clips; clay flowers and turtle-shaped lamps; satin stick flowers in a bamboo basket; Baskets for paper cups; tissue paper flowers; hats; Wall hangings made from ear plugs, bracelets and pebbles; clay caterpillars; Hanging flower pots made from coconut shells; lanterns; vegetables and fruits from small stones and bubble sheets, coconut shells, brushes, old newspapers, light bulbs, glass bottles, DIY and pista shells.
Dr. Anuradha Nidra, renowned neurologist, Dr. E. Peda Veerraju, noted gastroenterologist, Mrs. Geetha Ramanujam, one of India’s most renowned storytellers, and Vankayala Sanyasiraju, founder of Bhagya Sri Ram Jewelers were the chief guests. They visited the exhibition and appreciated the children’s creativity.
The event started with a melodious performance by Sri Prakash students’ ‘Tarang’ band. The UKG Convocation was held with great enthusiasm and celebrated the successful completion of their Kindergarten journey.
Mr. Vankayala admired the performance of the Sri Prakash band. Chitturi Vasu Prakash, Principal, Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan, appreciated the creativity, performance and talent of the students.
