
The child of Kadanganeri near Alangula and an older man from Anddoor near Kulsekaram was electrically electric after contact with the electric pole and live wire.
M. Jenimithho Rani, a kindergarten student, stayed with her grandparents in Kadanganeri. When Jenimithra played with her boyfriend from the same locality near the field near her house, she came into contact with the electric pole when she was electric shock and died in place. Her friend, whose name was given as Prithisha, also suffered a heavy electric shock.
She was immediately transported to Tirunelveli Government Medical College and Hospital, where Prithisha is treated.
The Uthumalai police sent Jenimithry the body on postmort and registered the case.
In another case, an older man, identified as Krishhnan, 75, died, to an electric power plant after he stepped on a cracked live wire near Kulsekaram.
On Friday evening, the power cables were caught in several places in the rain and strong wind. On Saturday morning, when Krishhnan accidentally climbed the live wire near his house, he died on the spot.
Police Kulsekarama registered the case and sent Kishnan’s body to postmort at the Kulsecaram Government Hospital.
