The main Minister Mkstalin arrived in Nilgiris on Monday, where he is scheduled to stay in the next few days until the 127 inauguration. Annual Flower show on Thursday (May 15, 2025).
According to sources managed by the Nilgiris district, Mr. Stalin received the collector of the district of Nilgiris, Lakshmi Bhavesa Tannneer and the district superintendent of the police director on Monday afternoon at the Nilgiris-Coimbore border.
Mr. Stalin then continued to Udhagamandalam, where he was welcomed by officials of the parties and public members before he approached the government guest house Tamizhagam, where he will stay throughout his visit. Officials from the Nilgiris District Administration said that Mr. Stalin would start an annual floral show, the event of the Marquis of the Nilgiris Summer Festival, as most likely to deviate from Nilgiris on Friday.
As part of the preparation for the visit to the main minister, the presence of the police was broadcast through the district, while the employees of the forest department were also placed along the route that the convoy got to reach Udhagamandalam to prevent the wild animals.
It is expected that Mr. Stalin is also expected to attend several selected events during his stay and are expected to meet members from various adivasi communities.
