
Chief Minister Pinaraya Vijayan invited New Jersey investors to invest in Keraly. According to official communication, after meeting with Governor New Jersey Phil Murphy spoke here in Kochi on Saturday (September 20, 2025).
The chairman of the Minister pointed out the similarities of the development indicators between the State and New Jersey and stated that there was a great potential for investment and cooperation in the education sector. He added that, as a state -friendly state, Kerala also calls on New Jersey’s executives to invested in the state.
A high -level team led by Governor New Jersey Phil Murphy arrived in Kochi to assess investment opportunities. Mr. Murphy said he would strengthen the ties between New Jersey and Keral. He added that their aim was to increase cooperation in various sectors, including industry, university education, humanitarian aid and other areas where mutual cooperation was possible. Mr. Murphy also emphasized the potential for joint investment and job creation.
“The state is equipped with all basic facilities required industries. Kerala is a popular destination for investors in sectors such as tourism, industry and technology,” Vijayan said. The main minister also expressed the hope that a visit to a delegation in New Jersey would further strengthen the ties between the two countries, the communication said.
