Chief Minister inaugurates IAP House

Chief Minister VD Satheesan inaugurated the official building of Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) Cochin Chapter here on Sunday (October 12). The IAP House, located behind the Kaloor Metro Station, will also be home to the ‘Arike’ Pain and Palliative Care Unit, which focuses on pediatric palliative care.

MP Hibi Eden delivered the main speech. Mohammed Shiyas, MLA, was present.

Dr. MK Nanda Kumar, President, IAP Kerala; Dr. Athul Joseph Manuel, Past President, IMA Cochin; and Dr. Sathyajith Nair, Secretary, IAP Cochin, along with senior paediatricians Dr. by Abraham K. Paul, Dr. Sachithananda Kamat, Dr. M. Venugopalem and Dr. M. Narayanan were present.
