Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu presenting new clothes to housing beneficiaries at Devagudipalli in Annamayya district on Wednesday.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday attended the inauguration ceremony of the beneficiaries of the housing scheme at Devgudipalla in Rayachoti constituency of Annamayya district.
Mr Naidu joined Hemalatha and her family in performing ‘gruhapravesam’ rituals and presented the couple with new clothes. He later visited the residence of another recipient, Shaik Mumtaz Begum, where he attended namaz, and gifted her family with new clothes.
Interacting with the beneficiaries, Mr. Naidu exhorted them to live in harmony and take advantage of all government welfare schemes besides seeking the intervention and guidance of officials whenever they need it.
Earlier, the villagers warmly welcomed Mr. Naidu by showering him with flower petals to the accompaniment of traditional music. Ministers K. Parthasarathy and M. Ramprasad Reddy and District Collector Nishant Kumar were present.
