
Indian Batsman Cheteshwar Pujara, one of the longest players in the cricket Indian, announced his retirement from all forms of Indian cricket on Sunday. Pujara is one of the only 14 Indian players who played more than 100 test matches for India, and was a key part of the historic Indian party that defeated Australia in 2021 in Brisbane – the first time the hosts lost for more than three decades.
Pujar’s emotions were obvious when he shared a long news with his fans and good friends after making a difficult decision to retire. In his social media accounts, he published a honest letter that triggered tribute to the admirers of the legendary cricket. While Pujara does not have to have records after the most test centuries or the highest number of test runs in the history of men’s cricket, you cannot deny the deep and lasting impact he had on the sport.

“The game led me to places around the world – and passionate support and energy of fans has always been constant. I was humiliated by wishes and motivation wherever I played, and I always stay grateful.”
