Cheteshwar Pujara said he had been touched by congratulatory news that was poured since he announced his retirement from all the game formats. The former cricket, still reliable No. 3 in India, responded to the Virata Kohli report and said that he was honored, that his former teammate recognized his contributions to the team and sport.

Pujara, 37, last played for India in the World Cup final of 2023. Criket Saurashtra, who recently started broadcasting during the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy, also said that the exploration of coaching roles is open in the future.
