
Cheteshwar Pujara officially announced his retirement from all the cricket formats on August 24, while at the age of 37 he ended a distinguished test career. More than 103 tests scored an average of 43.60, recorded 19 centuries and 35 half ways.
Pujara debuted against Australia in Bengalur in October 2010. In the first shifts he managed only four runs, but in the second he was impressed by the compound 72. His final performance came almost thirteen years later, in the final of the World Championship in 2023 in oval, again against Australia.
