The 20-year-old has emerged as a pivotal figure for both his club and country in recent times, making him a potentially outstanding acquisition for Chelsea if a deal can be finalized. As reported by Fichajes, Chelsea are preparing to submit an offer of approximately €60 million (£50m) for the Barcelona midfielder. Whether the Spanish club will agree to let him go remains to be seen.
Gavi has previously been linked with a move to PSG, and Chelsea were also rumored to be interested in the player a year ago.
Gavi is considered one of Barcelona’s standout players and is widely regarded as one of the brightest young talents in global football. Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, recently praised him as a special player with a limitless future.
“Gavi is a special player. He possesses the character and all the attributes a footballer needs. At just 20 years old, he plays with the maturity of someone in their mid-20s. Gavi has the world at his feet.”
