
Charlie Kirk, 31 -year -old CEO and co -founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, was shot on Wednesday (September 10) during the event at Utah Valley University.

California Governor Gavin Newsom condemned the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk call an act of “sick and punishable”. In his post for X, Newsom, he expressed his grief and outrage over violence and a widespread condolence to Kirka’s family, children and loved ones.
Newsom acknowledged that Kirk personally recognized Kirk, praised his “passion and determination to discuss”. Governor described Kirka’s murder as a “nonsensical” act and a significant reminder of the increasing importance of supporting civic discourse across political differences.
“The best way to appreciate Charlie’s memory is to continue your work: to participate in each other, across ideology, through a witty discourse,” Newsom wrote.
He stressed that a democratic debate should take place through words and thoughts, not violence.
Illinois Gov. Jb pritzker wrote on x“Attack on Charlie Kirk is scary. Political violence in this country has no place and should never become the norm. At this moment I am sending my sympathy to my family and friends.”
Former Transport Minister Pete Buttigieg wrote: “Political violence must always be rejected,” Buttigieg wrote about X. “Pray for him and all who could be injured or hit.”
Former spokesman for Nancy Pelosi called the “repulsive” attack and stressed that “political violence in our nation has absolutely no place”.
Former representative of Arizona Gabrielle Giffordswho survived an attempt at the 2011 assassination, said: “Democratic companies will always have political disagreements, but we must never allow America to become a country that confronts these disagreements with violence.”
Candidate for the mayor of New York Zorran Mamdani published x: “I am horrified by shooting Charlie Kirk at the stock action in Utah. Political violence in our country has no place.”
Kirka’s heritage and influence
Charlie Kirk got up from an activist of a teenage campus to become a prominent conservative voice and a firm supporter of President Donald Trump. His political ideology was deeply tied to his evangelical Christian beliefs, including seven mountain mandates.
Kirk helped build the support of youth for Trump, emphasized freedom of expression, questioned great technology and defended the American class Americans.
