
Heggodu Honnesara-based Charkha Women’s Multipurpose Industrial Cooperative will organize a three-day exhibition and sale of natural colored pure cotton handlooms and handicrafts at Ramnath Mangal Karyalaya in Bhagya Nagar, Belagavi from Friday.
At the fair, 10 stalls will be prepared for craftsmen. Handcrafted readymade garments, fabrics, bedspreads in natural colors, Jamdani fabric sarees, kurtas, shirts and home decor items will be available.
In addition, there will be sarees from North Karnataka, Garments from Gajendragad, Banana fiber products from Chetana Group Sirsi, Natural cosmetics, Plant seeds from Beeja Botanical, Organic food from Hiranmayi Foods, Art sarees from Swavalambi Sakhi, Dharwad, Various cane products from Sahana Lambaniredje Gadavig, Sahan reeds, Sahanabrorisevig, Pratishthan, Belagavi, Leather products from Shivaraj and Indira will be on sale Terracotta Jewelery from Heggod.

Sri Allama Prabhu Swami of Naganur Rudrakshi Math will inaugurate the fair which is organized under Pavitra Vastra program sponsored by Handloom and Textile Department.
Veteran designer and activist GN Gopikrishna, State Handloom and Textiles Department West Zone Joint Director Shivaraj Kulkarni and Shivamogga Handloom and Textiles Department Deputy Director Shivalingappa N. Kumbar will be present.
Charkha Sangha President Mahalakshmi will preside over the event, the release said.
