Heavy rain and strong winds forced the cancellation of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) match between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi at the Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday without a ball being thrown. The launch was delayed as the weather worsened and the situation became more difficult for the ground staff. Strong winds made it difficult to keep the covers in place and several crew members lost their balance trying to secure them. Some were seen falling as the blankets were dragged across the ground.
