The Karnataka government plans to allow students who were asked to remove their janivara (sacred thread) and hijab during the recently held Common Entrance Test (CET) to re-appear for the exam.
Addressing the media on Thursday (April 30), Higher Education Minister MC Sudhakar said, “In the interest of the students, we plan to give an opportunity to those students who were asked to remove their janivara and hijab during the recently held Common Entrance Test (CET) to re-sit the exam.”
