On the occasion of the May Day, Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) distributed safety equipment and launched a comprehensive system of non -cash health insurance for its employees in five districts. In a significant step towards addressing health care needs, CESC introduced a new medical policy that offers cashless treatment for employees and their families. Medical cards were distributed to employees, allowing access to treatment at 1,413 emphasis of hospitals after Karnataka.

Safety equipment has been distributed to all employees at the same time, emphasizing the approach of CESC to risk prevention.
Mr Munigopalraja recognized the essential role of Powermen and Section officers, described them as the backbone of the organization and primary touch points with consumers and emphasized the importance of maintaining the feeder and transformers to avoid disturbing and accidents.
CESC currently employs 6 351 individuals. Including 19,468 family members, the total number of recipients within the health care system is 25 819. Each family is eligible for the health coverage of £ 2 Lakh, with 3 GBP crore earned for medical emergencies and advanced treatment. Since the launch of the scheme, 43 employees and 104 family members used the benefits of 94 lakh.
