The Indian Election Commission said on Friday (September 19, 2025) that the chief election officer Karnataka provides and continues to provide all information to the State CID for investigating the False voter Affairs.
Rahul Gandhi, the opposition leader, said at a press conference in the capital of the National City on Thursday, that despite the repeated reminders of Karnataka CID, ECI did not provide the information necessary for the probe into the case.
ECI on Friday (September 19, 2025) stated in an official statement that although the voter of the constituency may fill in Form 7 Online to ask for a post from this particular constituency, it does not mean that the item automatically removes only submission of Form 7.

Regarding the case of Rajura, Chandrapur, Maharashtra, the survey body said a total of 7,792 applications for registration of a new voter were adopted. Invalid 6,861 applications were found during verification, so it is refused.
Again, “suspicion of the authenticity of such a large number of applications for supplementation, the electoral registration clerk, Rajura, and then crime no. 629/2024 was registered at the Rajura Police Station”.
At his press conference, Mr. Gandhi also described the case of Rajura and stated that while voters were deleted in the Carnation in Karnatation, fake voters were added in Maharashtra’s Rajura.
