Vice President Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) DN Rao said on Friday that the university will set up a chip production unit on the campus of Vizianagaram, probably the first in the country.
He attended as a main guest at the Independence Day celebrations and said the Cutm delegation discussed this matter with representatives of various companies during its participation in the conference on the automation of the design, which recently held in San Francisco.
Dr. Rao said that university educational institutions should play a crucial role in the development of India by introducing courses in accordance with the future needs of the country and government policy. He said Cutm has always given the highest priority for practical oriented education to ensure that each student reaches the highest position in selected fields.
