CREDAI Chennai and Central Polytechnic College, Taramani have signed an MoU to set up a Center of Excellence for Construction Practice, an initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical requirements of the real estate and construction industry.
The Center of Excellence will focus on upgrading laboratory infrastructure, introducing industry-led training modules and creating a structured academic-industry center that produces field-ready and qualified civil construction supervisors.
“Through this collaboration, we aim to develop industry-ready construction supervisors, equipped with the technical skills and hands-on experience needed to lead on the ground,” said A. Mohamed Ali, President, CREDAI Chennai.
A key part of the cooperation is a six-month internship program at CREDAI member projects.
