The Union Cabinet on Wednesday (October 1, 2025) increased the contribution to Drahouška (DA) and the relief from expensive (DR) by 3% for about 49.19 lake employees of the central government and 68.72 Lakh pensioners.
Increasing DA/DR by 3% compared to the current rate of 55% of basic remuneration/pension for compensating the price increase is effective July 1, 2025.
