
Employees of the Central Government can afford up to 30 days for personal reasons, including care for older parents, State Minister of Jitendra Singh on Thursday said in Rajya Sabha.

“The 1972 Central State Services (Leave) rules provide 30 days of holiday earned, 20 days half salary, eight days of occasional holidays and two days limited per year, among others eligible sheets on employees of the central government that can be used for any personal reasons, including older parents,” Singh said in a written answer.
