The National Educational Society for Student Students (Nests), which manages more than 470 Eklava schools for students of tribal students across the country, has launched a UNICEF program, which provides psychometric evaluation, career training and training in skills and confidence for 1,38 lakh students included in these schools.
The program called Talash-Kirty means “tribal capacity, life skills and self-esteem”-is “an innovative digital platform for equipment (Eklava Model Residential School) EMRS with the necessary tools for self-knowledge and career planning,” the ministry said in a statement. “It promotes self -confidence, helps students to decide on career and builds basic life skills.”
This platform will be designed a normal test of skills for students who study across EKLAVYA schools, which will lead to a “career card” for every student, suggesting that the “best career options” are appropriate. This will be paired with career services and special sections that train them in life skills, such as “solving problems, communication and handling emotions”.

Mentoring support
There will also be a portal that will give teachers to the sources “to the effective mentor and support of students on their academic and personal trips,” the ministry said. So far, more than 180 teachers have been trained at 75 Eklava schools; By the end of the year, the program is expected to be introduced in all Eklava schools.

Test, Employment Coaching
Hnída has also signed two memorandum of understanding with Tata Motors and the former Navodayan Foundation (graduation group Jawahar Provodaya) to start coaching programs for students of Eklavya, aimed at breaking competitive exams such as Iit-Jee and Neet.
