
The center assigned two Excellence centers (Coes) from seven announced critical mineral research across the country of Telangana thanks to the efforts of the Minister of Union for coal and mines G. Kishan Reddy.
In January this year, the Cabinet of the Trade Union approved the “National Critical Mineral Mission” with a budget of 16,300 GBP Crore, except for 18,000 GBP Crore to be mobilized from different dogs. The aim of the mission is to solve the growing needs of the industry that rely on critical minerals. As part of the mission, the Ministry of mines acknowledged four IITs, including IIT-H and three research and development centers (R&D), including the Center for the Development of Technologies Without Grammination Materials (NFTDC) in Hyderabad, as COES. They will work under the ministry. These institutions will lead research and technological development necessary to achieve the goals of a national critical mineral mission.
Seven centers of Excellency will receive funds under government research programs. In addition, 500 GBP Crore will be assigned to research and development and another 500 Crore to international research and development support from global cooperation.
