Hyderabad celebrated unity on Saturday 5th April by joining cities throughout India at the celebration of more faith and combining festivals like Ugadi, ID-ul-fitr, RAM Navami, Mahavir Jayanti, Baisakhi and Easter. The day began with a blood donation camp, which was inaugurated with the leaders of the five main religions, followed by a cultural show called “The stage is waiting for your soul” with a presentation of artists across faith.
The youth panel, “my thoughts of festivals celebrate”, appeared as a peak where participants were thinking about the changing nature of the digital age celebrations and called on to return to a shared and meaningful festivities across communities.
