
The Golden Jubilee Council for Control of Pollution in Karnataka (KSPCB) will be celebrated in Mysuru 27 October and will be marked with events to ran awareness of environmental protection.
On Monday, the Commissioner G. Lakshmikant Reddy announced it. He chaired the preparatory meeting in Zilla Panchayat to discuss the arrangement of events, stated that a suitable place would be identified for the program.
A representative of the Commissioner said that the celebrations will be organized together for the districts of Mysura and Kodag and the invitations will be extended to the heads and wearers of offices organizations, local ecologists and industrial industrial participation.
Several committees will be created to ensure smooth behavior. Mr. Reddy said that awareness of students and public will take place in the area of inspection of electronic waste, plastic waste, solid waste, water and air pollution.
At the level of the district and at the level of Taluk, there will be more events that would expand among students awareness of environmental protection.
Mr. Reddy said that the active participation of schools and universities, including those from residential schools, should be an important part of the celebrations and emphasize the importance of supporting environmental awareness among youth.
The meeting was attended by the CEO of Zilla Panchayat Yukesh Kumar S, the environmental officer (Urban) vs Kumar, the environmental officer (rural) V.Sunil.
