President of Karnataka BJP from Vijayendra said on Friday that the World Environment Day should not be limited to only one day, but celebrated throughout the year, due to the damage that was eligible to nature. “We feel the impact of the damage caused in our environment and the climate change is prominently visible,” he said.
After starting the inauguration of the Distribution Program of the Seeds in the Suttura, he called on the use of plastics with one use that he thinks must start from our homes. “When you return to your homes, make sure you stop using plastic (single use),” he advised the participants.
He praised Mathematics Suttur for her initiatives and concerns about the environment, he said that people have forgotten their duties and cause more damage to the environment. “This has led to global warming. The interest in the environment is in bankruptcy and natural disasters are more frequent due to damage.”
Mr. Vijayendra said it was equally important to protect the environment along with the development of technological development. “The sparrows disappeared and even butterflies are not considered prominent, as was the case before. Tree saving and planting more trees are needed for an hour to save our nature,” he added.
Member of Maze Yaduveer Krishhnadatt Chamaraja Wadiyar, who spoke on this occasion, praised Suttur mathematics for the ball initiative with regard to the need to grow more trees and protect our environment. “Mathematics is known for its services in various fields, including education and health, and I am glad that I can participate in this program visiting Suttur.”
Mr. Yadveer also remembered the connection between mathematics and the Mysuru Palace.
Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamii of Suttur Math also spoke at the event.
