The Central Council for Secondary Education (CBSE) will carry out class 10 and 12 advice of 17 February next year, officials announced on Wednesday (September 24, 2025).
The Board of Directors announced a preliminary date for key exams.
This is the first time that the academic meeting is carried out on the Board of Directors for Class 10.
“While the first edition will be made from 17 to 6 March 2026, the second edition is scheduled from 15 to 1 June,” said CBSE Sanyam Bhardwaj.
The second phase planned in May will be optional for students who want to improve their performance. If the student appears for both phases, the best score of these two will be maintained.
Both tests will be carried out at the full intersection for the year and the scheme of the studies and the test scheme will remain the same.
The Council explained that there will be no separate complementary tests in this system. Instead, the second meeting of the Board of Directors will serve as a complementary test for those who want to improve their score.
At present, students have the opportunity to improve their score in complementary exams.
Class 12 advice will be made from 17 February to 9 April 2026, he said.
“As a general instructions, the response assessment will begin approximately 10 days after the examination of each entity and will be completed within 12 days. For example, if the class 12 is scheduled for 20 February 2026, March 2026 is likely to start and closes March 15, 2026,” Bhardwaj added.
204 subjects across the class 10 and 12 from India and 26 countries abroad are expected to appear around 45 lamps.
