
CBI registered the case against former Jawaharlal officials Nezru Port Trust (JNPT) and Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) as well £800 crore.
According to officials, the alleged discrepancies are associated with the project of capital dredging to deepen the navigation channels of the boat near the bomb.
The Federal Investigation Agency event comes after three years of preliminary survey, which looked at the accusation of inflated estimates, stopping competition in favor of international candidates, expanding disproportionate kindness to contactors and suppressing reports of independent professional organizations.
In her company, CBI reserved the appointment of the then engineer Jnpt Sunil Kumar Madabhavi, the then project director of TCe, Devdutt Bose, Boskalis Smit India LLP, Jan de Zero dredging India PVT LTD and other unidentified public workers. The case was submitted according to section 120-B IPC (criminal plot), 420 (cheating) and the provisions of the Corruption Prevention Act.
CBI performs search
After the company registration, CBI searched five seats in Mumbai and Chennai, including Madabhavi and Bose homes and private companies’ offices.
The search has led to a number of documents concerning the project of capital excavation, digital equipment and documents showing investments carried out by public employees, CBI spokesman said.
The documents obtained are examined, she said in her statement.
There was no immediate reaction from the accused companies.

What did CBI say?
“The accusation of a monetary benefit obtained by private companies as a result of abuse of official position JNPT officials, which resulted in a huge incorrect loss for the treasury, expanded in the period 2003 to 2014 (phase and project) and 2013 to 2019 (phase II of the project).”
The investigation has shown a criminal plot between JNPT officials and other private persons, including an official of Tata consulting engineers, and others, resulting in incorrect loss of the amount concerned £365.90 Crore for the phase I and £438 Crore for the JNPT phase phase due to excessive pulling.

The case concerns a project that assumes JNPT to deepen and expand the navigation channel, which shared with the port of Mumbai in 2003 to meet the needs of larger cargo ships.
The TCE was attached to the preparation of the final report on the planning of excavator activities for the Phase I excavator capital project, which was submitted in 2010 in cooperation with an excavation solution.
TCE was also awarded the work of the project consultant for the project for the project, including the preparation of documents on tenders and work on the project supervision, said the company.
During their preliminary investigation, CBI found that JNPT officials, together with TCe managers, maintained the terms of the offer to prefer foreign applicants and violated the instructions of the Indian Competition Commission by allowing free offers and allowing the creation of the Boskalis Boskalis Smit LLP LLP LLP with PVT LTD LTD LTD LTD (also known as BSI-JV).

The CBI question has also shown a violation of a number of instructions related to fixation of rates for dredging different types of rocks, delay of the project, false claim to £348 crore from a supplier without actual work performance, excessive payment £430 CRORE and manipulation of exploration before pulling with less accurate “Qins” software, among other things.
