
The Central Council for Film Certification (CBFC) demanded the creator of Malayalam, Haal to remove several scenes from the films, including the character in which beef biryani consumes the film to be certified for the exhibition.
As in the case of Malayalam JSK – Janaki vs State of Kerala, Haal, in the lead role of Shane Nigam and Sakshi Vaidya, it was originally cleaned by the regional censorship office, but was held by officials at CBFC headquarters in Mumbai.
The filmmaker Veera told the Hindes that the producers had submitted a film to certify the Regional Office in Thiruvananthapurama in September September September 10. Although the regional authority said that the film was equally good, the creators were later sent to the Audit Committee.
Some other scenes that have been asked to remove, besides the Biryani Beef scene, included a scene in which the character uses Purdah to hide his identity, another in which several characters wear Rakhi, usually used by Sangh Parivar, their wrist, scene where the character is called “Dhwaja Pranamam”. on it “(Granamam” (Bjathis (Granamam “(Granamam ‘((Granamam name (name Sulthana Bathery, turns to Ganapathi Vattam).
According to CBFC, these scenes included religious sensitivity and socio -cultural dynamics.
“CBFC officials have made such strange requirements and even told us that they only give a” certificate “for the film, even if we make these changes. They say the film has a hidden agenda. Such ideas,” says Veera.
The filmmakers with a budget around 16 Crore have already postponed the release date of the film twice until September 19 and later until October 10.

However, with CBFC officials who delayed this process, they approached the Keral High Court, which ordered the Union’s government on Thursday to clarify its attitude during the next hearing of October 14th.
In the case of Janaki V. V/S Keral CBFC, the film cleared only after the filmmakers in the film removed all the references to “Janaki” (another name for the goddess Sita).
