The newly balanced video showing the deadly targeting of the convoy help of gaza has raised serious concerns about the initial explanation of the Israeli army’s incident. The shots received by the Palestinian company Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and proven by Sky News show clearly the distinctive humanitarian convoy under fire – ridiculously contrary to the claims of Israeli defensive forces (IDF).
15 killed assistance workers, bodies found in a mass grave
The attack that occurred on March 23 north of Rafah was killed by 15 humanitarian workers, including eight PRC doctors, six civil defense members and one UN employee. According to Jonathan Whittall, head of the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs, their bodies were recovered from the “mass grave” days after the contact was lost with the convoy.
Israeli forces quoted before the release of the video ‘suspicious vehicles’
Before the release of the IdF shots, he claimed that the units had fired on vehicles that lacked headlights or visible emergency signals, describing them as “suspicious”. He also noted that at that time an evacuation order was issued for this area.
The verified video shows clearly marked emergency vehicles
However, the newly emerging video represents a significantly different account. The shots – captured from the inside of one of the ambulances – show the convoy of emergency vehicles, including an ambulance and a fire truck, traveling south towards the central rafah with red lights. The video seems to have been filmed early in the morning.
Five minutes of shooting after stopping a convoy
As you can see in the video, the convoy stops when one vehicle turns off the road. The auxiliary workers are then seen leaving their vehicles when intensive shooting explodes, which lasts about five minutes.
PRCS: Evidence of targeting
PRC said the video was obtained from the EMT Rif’at Radwan, one of the victims. In his statement, he said, “This video clearly refutes the claim of the profession that Israeli forces did not accidentally focus ambulances… (a) clearly show that the ambulances and fire trucks they used were visibly marked with the flashing emergency lights when they were attacked.”
IDF will start a complete investigation
In his statement published on Saturday, according to Sky News, the Israeli army stated that the incident was “under a thorough examination”: “All the claims, including the documentation orbiting the incident, will be thoroughly and deeply explored to understand the sequence of events and solutions.”
