The International Conference on the Catholic Congress, which took place here on Saturday and Sunday, was warned by political parties in the country and reminded them of the unity of the Christian community and the importance of the church leadership.
Thalassery Archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplany, who started the conference on Sunday evening, said the Christians in Kerala would present a unified queue on key questions. He pointed to a great assembly as evidence of supporting the community for the management of the Church.
Survival policy
The Global President of the Catholic Congress Kochuparamtil, who chaired the conference, said that the policy of the Church is the policy of survival. Diocese problems will be considered questions from the whole Christian community, he said.
In his main speech, Palakkad Bishop Mar Peter Kochupuracal pointed to his own wisdom and distinguish the Christian community. He said that the community has always remained without subjection by refusing to be bound to the authorities of someone.

Diocesan Secretary General Gijo Arakkal proposed a vote for thanks. The conference was attended by delegates from all over the country and representatives from France, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, USA and Italy. The next conference will be the Archdiocese of Thalassery.
A massive assembly from Fort Maidan was eliminated here. Thousands of people took part in the assembly. Fr. Kaviyil and Fr. Anjilimootil marked the rally. The rally has increased slogans focused on problems such as JB Koshi Commission report, farmers’ problems, wild animal attacks and drug abuse.
