“Sixty -three opposition deputies, including those from the AAP and India Bloc parties, announced to President Rajya Sabha for the elimination of justice of Varma,” said Congress member Syed Nasseer Hussain.
He also said that, although TRINAMOOL CONGRESS (TMC) members were not present on Monday, they are on board to this matter and submit their signatures later.
According to the Act on Judges (Investigation), if the petition announcement is submitted on the same day in both houses of parliament, the Committee for Examination of the accusation of the judge will be formed by Lok Sabha spokesperson and chairman of Rajya Sabha.
