The Hassan police arrested the person for charging the rape of a smaller girl and forced her to take pills to end her pregnancy.
According to the police, the defendant created a contact with a smaller girl last year. He raped her several times and threatened her with photographs taken when they were together. Later he also provided her pills to end her pregnancy.
Parents recently learned about the incident. They filed a complaint to the police.
The police registered the case on the basis of the Protection Act against sexual offenses of 2012 and the relevant parts of the BNS on Friday 12 September against two persons, including the one who allegedly helped the defendants obtain pills.
The police arrested one of the accused on Saturday 13th. September.
