Ravishankar Ayyanar, CEO (CID) on Tuesday, confiscated key documents regarding the case of alleged cheating on a foreign changed “Hundi” in the form of gifts in the Lord Venkatesware temple in Tirumale.
This step comes the day after the High Court Andr Pradesh pulled the police department over his “relaxed and indifferent” treatment of the probe and did not ensure vital evidence in time.
Ayyanar, who dealt with the media, confirmed that CID was held by the TTD Trust Board resolution, Lok Adalat compromise papers, case diary, CCTV shots and other related documents.
“All confiscated documents will be submitted before the High Court,” he said.
The controversy of paracamans dates back to April 2023, when the accusation of extensive theft of foreign currency notes from the Hundi temple emerged.
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) named Ravikumar, an official attached to Pedda Jeeyar Mutt, as the key accused. However, the case was twisted when the problem was resolved in the court in Adalat in Tirupati, elaborating speculation against a compromise formula, according to which Ravikumar allegedly gifted real estate worth several Cores Rupes TTD, eventually led to the case.
After the government of NDA took over the state in the state in the state. BJP claimed that a huge amount had changed their hands in the “compromise formula”, after which the High Court Andhra Pradesh created a sit and ordered a detailed probe.
The case was published for its further hearing until October 17th.
