
The High Court in Kerala confirmed the expulsion of college and debaring 19 students who were charged as accused in the case of Sidharthan JS death, a student of the Keraral veterinary and animal sciences of the University in Wayanad, in February 2024, after the alleged obscure.
This was followed by the appeal filed by his mother, Mr. Sheeba against the only judge who canceled their expulsion, and ordered their readmisis to study on the campus Mannuthy. 19 students accused of the case were excluded from the university on the basis of an investigation by the anti-ragging committee. The free judge approved the order while canceling the interim and final reports of the anti-ripping team that debated the students.
The free judge also ordered a new investigation and allowed the students to continue their studies on the campus Mannutha, subject to the outcome of the investigation on the basis of petitions submitted by students. The division’s bench then remained the verdict of the only judge.
