After the police filed the indictment in the case of the murder of Raja Raghuvanki, his family in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, demanded a punishment for the main accused and his wife Sonam Raghuvanki, her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha and three hired hitmen.
Raja’s brother Vipin Raghuvanki, who can be with Raja, said Sonam, Kushwaha and other accused should get a serious punishment. “Our only demand is that all five accused, including sonam, Raj Kushwaha and others, should get the death penalty,” he said.
On Saturday, Meghalaya filed a 790 -page indictment in the Sohra court against five accused, including Akash Singh Rajput, Vishal Singh Chauhan, and Anand Kurmi, who was allegedly hired to kill Raja, entrepreneur in May.
Five accused were accused of sections 103 (1) (murder), 238 (a) (causing the disappearance of evidence) and 61 (2) (criminal plot) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhit (BNS).
Vivek Syiem, superintendent of the police district of Meghalaya to the east of Khasi Hills, said that three other men would be filed with an additional indictment for allegedly destruction of evidence.

Mr. Vipin Raghuvanki said that in this case he still had to see the indictment, but expressed his satisfaction with the investigation of the police Meghalaya. “I still have to read the indictment. On Monday I travel to Shillong and refer to the charge,” he said.
But Sonam’s brother Govind accused the “betrayal” of the victim’s family. “He said he said he would get a judiciary, but now his helping Sonam and another accused in this case,” Mr. Vipin said.
Raja and Sonam reached Shilllong 21. After the extensive search, including various agencies and locals, Raja’s body was obtained from a deep ravine near Weisawdong Falls 2.
On 8 and 9 June, all five main accused were, including Sonama, which was originally considered missing, arrested from parts of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh by a special investigation team (SIT) Police Meghalaya.
According to the police, they made three hitmen killing in front of Sonam, who was in relation to Kushwah, and five accused were conspired to eliminate Raja during the honeymoon.
