
The special investigation team, which created the Kozhikode Municipal Police, arrested one more person who allegedly directly involved in the case of Hemachandran murder. VV Ošakh, 35, was packed from Wayanad on Thursday (July 3) after the police gathered scientific evidence of his alleged relationship with other partners in a crime.
Jyothish Kumar (32 years) and BS Ajesh, 27, two other suspects were arrested earlier in connection with the incident. Police sources said Vyšakh, the designer of the Nadavayal interiors in the Wayanad district, was a close friend of Jyothish Kumar, and attended secretly buried the body of Hemachandran, who was allegedly kidnapped and murdered after some financial stores. They said that there were legal measures to issue the main suspect, identified as Noushad, from Saudi Arabia to India.
That was June 28, when the police cracked the case of a mysterious murder that was originally registered as a case of a man at the Kozhikode Medical College police station that was missing. After a 16 -month investigation, the special investigation team reset to suspect with the support of cyber cells and the criminal groups of Kozhikode.
Hemacandran was a native of Wayanad, who was temporarily seated in Mayanad in Kozhikode City for his private business. The special investigation team found that it was kidnapped from Kozhikode 20 March 2024 and later murdered in Wayanad after some financial disputes. The recovery of the secretly buried body from the Cherambadi forest in Tamil Nad last week was the main breakthrough in their investigation.
Although the main suspect claimed that this was the case of suicide in the newly released video on Facebook from Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (July 2), the police related to the probe refused to make any comment. They said that a notice of order and other details of a crime based on the posthumous report had already been issued against him and other scientific evidence would soon appear.
