The Madras High Court (July 22, 2025) wanted to know why the Ministry of the Criminal Criminal Criminal offense (CB-CID) had not yet been convened by another CEO (ADGP) HM Jayara for investigation in connection with its alleged involvement in the kidnapping case.
Justice G. Jayacandran asked a question during the proposal on bail filed by the accused V. Vanaraja, P. Manicandan and M. Ganesan, who were arrested and taken to the judiciary by the Police of Truvvallang in connection with the same case of 2025.
Another general advisor J. Ravindran, with the help of another prosecutor R. MuniyAraj, said the CB-CID, to which the investigation was subsequently transferred, called the suspended ADGP for investigation on July 24, 2025 and that the investigation was in the right direction.
After recording his submission of the judge, he ordered the submitted investigative official to submit a case for examination of the court and to decide to pass the order to the plaintiff after the records and evaluation of the progress of the investigative team.

June 7, 2025, the gang moved to the residence of a young man in the village of Kalambakkam in the Truvallur district to look for him, but eventually kidnapped his younger brother at the age of 18 when the teenager slept on the terrace. Their mother immediately filed a police complaint.
After the Truvalingad Police launched a search operation, the kidnapped teenager was moved to the official ADGP car to avoid the vehicle control and dropped to the bus stand, the application claimed. The Supreme Court subsequently transferred the investigation into the CB-CID matter.
