President BRS working KT Rama Rao refused to submit his mobile phone to the anti -corruption office (ACB), which examines the case of the Formula E race, which quotes personal data protection problems.
Interestingly, the former Minister MA and UD claimed that in the first quarter of 2024 he replaced his old mobile phone with a new one and during the period concerning the Formula E case did not use any other electronic devices.
In his written response to ACB KTR, he stated that such a direction violates basic rights and personal privacy guaranteed under the Constitution. He listened to ACB and said he personally appeared before ACB on June 16 and answered all the questions.
It states that ACB delivered him a notice of submitting a mobile phone used between November 1, 2021 and 1 December 2023, along with other electronic devices she used and stressed that the notification did not specify the reason or purpose for searching for these devices.
KTR stressed that all official records concerning the Formula E case have already been available to the Ministry of State Administration and Development (Ma & UD) and all decisions on the case were made in its official position of the Minister of this department. He added that if some electronic devices were to be examined, strict protocols set by the Supreme Court must be observed in order to avoid any manipulation or abuse of data.
He emphasized the importance of the right to privacy, referring to the relevant case where the Supreme Court granted the provisional relief to the petitioner and ordered the Directorate for the enforcement of the right to not accept or copy the content of the petitioner.
