On Tuesday, the Karnatak High Court ordered the police not to present the final report on the investigation without prior permission in the criminal case registered in connection with Stampede outside the M. Chinnaswama stadium, in which 11 people died during the celebrations of Bengalur’s victory (RCB) June 4.
The judiciary of SR Krishna Kumar approved the interim order during negotiations on the petitions submitted by Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited (RCSPL), which owns RCB, DNA Entertainment PVT. LTD, an official RCSPL manager, Karnataka State Cricket Association and the best executives associated with these organizations. They attacked the legality of the registration of criminal proceedings against them.
The Court of Justice imposed a rider to submit a report on the investigation of the court in jurisdiction by separating a criminal investigation (CID), which now finds the case, because the court previously limited to any coercive steps against organizations and their representatives during their petitions in the socket.
When the petition appeared on hearing, supporters representing the petitioner expressed concern that their interest would be adversely affected if the CID would submit CID/fees in the case of submitting proposals.
The court postponed another hearing until August 5th.
