Police in Cyberrabad arrested a thirty -year -old man in connection with the murder of a woman whose body was found stuffed in a large travel bag and left in the remote corner of Bachupally at the beginning of this week.
The defendant, identified as Vijay Toppa aka Wilson, was picked up on Thursday evening from the Balanagar Special Operation Team (SOT) and Bachupally Police. Later he confessed to killing the victim, 33 -year -old Tara Bohra, during a quarrel about her pregnancy.
The case came to light in the morning of June 4, when the local guard discovered a bag in the colony of the owners ‘owners’ association Vijaya Durg. After the police inspection, she found the female body inside. The case of the murder was booked by the Bachupally police.
Investigators said that both the victim and the accusations were Nepalese nationals who met on Facebook and created a relationship. Tara, a married woman with two children, arrived at Hyderabad on April 15 and began living with Vijay in a rented room in Indiramma Colony, Bowramp. Vijay worked as a chef at a local fast food booth.
According to the police, around 5:00 May 23, a heated argument broke out between them. In the rage of Vijay, he strangled Tara using a nylon bag, stuffed her body into a travel bag, and later threw him into a colony, where it was found a few days later.
Five special Runhunt teams started on the basis of CCTV shots and technical evidence. Their efforts led to the arrest of Vijay of Bowramp.
Police confiscated mobile phones of the victim and the accused, a travel bag used to transport the body and the nylon thread used to commit the murder. Vijay is made in court for judicial links.
